Brendan is a Christian creative communicator with over 40 years of experience on the public stage. He is equally at home speaking at large conferences or with small gatherings such as youth groups, Mothers Union, business groups, etc.
From a tumultuous start with a life of violence and living in fear, everything changed in 1986 when he became a Christian. His life has taken him from school bully to charity founder and CEO, an incredible journey with endless testimonial stories. At the start of his Christian walk, God transformed Brendan with noticeable changes, particularly in the way that he listened and talked. Decades later, Brendan now focuses all of his communication skills in four main areas: 1. Author – Brendan has published 15 books including two autobiographical, three novels, four poetry books including the entire book of Psalms in rhyme and more. 2. Speaker – Inspiring, motivating, transforming. From a 1 hour session to whole weekends Brendan shares his life stories, poetry and workshops. Brendan is an advocate for men's mental health and speaking to men's groups. 3. Poet – God speaks to Brendan in rhyme and this is his core ministry. 4. Publishing & Media services – The Apostle Paul, worked to support his ministry and made tents. Brendan provides digital communication services as a modern-day form of ‘tent-making’. This includes 'Yellow Dog Publishing Services' and 'Message Movies' film production, plus website construction and maintenance, digital marketing, etc.

BOOK LAUNCH - I'm Still VALUED
Against all odds Press release – 13/11/23 In 2012, someone told Brendan Conboy that he could never be an author. Although the flippant remark did initially prevent this Stroud-based, Christian author from writing, he fought against the odds and published his first book in 2015. ‘The Golden Thread’ is Brendan’s biography (part one). Against even greater odds, Brendan has now published his 15th book called, ‘I’m Still VALUED – You’re still valued.’ This is the author’s continuing biography and it is packed full of stories of courage and overcoming when faced with adversity. The stories are a challenge to read but they are real. Brendan is openly frank about his health struggles, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. He shares his battles of nearly dying four times and of being on a life support machine twice. Perhaps the most fascinating chapter of the book is the one that tells of Brendan’s experience of being on the approach road to Heaven – the often talked about, Tunnel of Light. “I had an indescribable peace,” says Brendan. “I had heard stories of people that had been to this place or similar and now I know what it is like. As a Christian, I believe in Heaven but never imagined having a foretaste of what is to come.
