Poetic Justice

When I first became a Christian, God began to awaken something in me during a prayer meeting. In that moment, words started to form—rhythmic, flowing, and full of meaning. It was the first time I recognised a natural ability to rhyme, and I knew it wasn’t something I had learned—it had been given.

That gift quickly found expression through youth work and outreach, where I began using rap to communicate truth in a way people could connect with. Then one night, the words came again—this time in a powerful flow of lyrics that filled my mind so rapidly I had to get up and write them down. I realised this wasn’t just creativity; it was God at work.

What began as rap became the foundation for everything I write today—a gift of words, shaped by faith, and used to share truth.
