About Me

Yes, I do like flowery shirts, especially when speaking or performing on stage.

My Life Journey:  School > Mechanical Engineering > Sales > Construction >

Youth Work & Charity Development > Consultancy > Creative Communicator.

I have over 40 years experience in business and charity development.  I have worked extensively in many different volunteer roles and right up to CEO level.  I am one of the Founders of The Door Youth Project, based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, which I helped to develop over 24 years.  After moving on from The Door, I have spent several years supporting many other small charities and even saved two from closure.  This mainly involved work in three areas:

1. Income generation  2. Communication  3. Governance

Though I do still offer advise in each of these areas, my passion is in communication and to communicate creatively and artistically in as many ways possible, but especially poetically.

In case you were wondering, Brendan is a direct descendant of an ancient Irish Gaelic Chieftain called 'Yellow Hound,' hence the name 'Yellow Dog.'

Brendan is a Christian creative communicator with over 40 years of experience on the public stage.  He is equally at home speaking at large conferences or with small gatherings such as youth groups, Mothers Union, business groups, etc.

From a tumultuous start with a life of violence and living in fear, everything changed in 1986 when he invited Jesus into his life.  His journey has taken him from school bully to charity founder and CEO, an incredible adventure with endless testimonial stories.  At the start of his Christian walk, God transformed Brendan with noticeable changes, particularly in the way that he listened and talked.
