Mentoring Service

  • From youth work to leading a charity to publishing books, I’ve gathered a toolkit of experience.

  • I know the challenges of leading, creating, and supporting others—and I also know the joy of having someone walk alongside you.

  • That’s why I’d be glad to share what I’ve learned with leaders, writers, and youth supporters who are ready for mentoring.

  • You don’t have to do it all on your own.

“A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you.”
— Bob Proctor

“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.”
— Oprah Winfrey

BEFORE things feel out of control…

GET HELP!

Sir Winston Churchill said, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Mentoring is all about giving back that which I have learnt in the hope that others will be compelled to teach someone else. Without mentoring, we would not have the technology, industry and arts that bring us so much peace and joy. We can only learn so much from school, the internet or reading. If you want to advance in a certain area or skill, sometimes the only way is to learn directly from someone who knows - a mentor.

I am delighted to offer mentoring in three key areas, drawing on decades of experience, practical insights, and a passion for helping others succeed.

Charity Leadership (CEO/Executive)

I co-founded a charity in 1991 and served as its CEO, developing the organisation and its team into a sustainable, lasting entity. I have also consulted for struggling charities, helping them to thrive. As an ex-CEO, I understand the value of having a mentor—someone to guide, challenge, and support you.
Are you a CEO or charity leader? Who is mentoring you?

Writing & Publishing

I am passionate about helping emerging authors bring their stories to life. Since publishing my first book in 2015 (and learning many lessons along the way), I have published 15 more books. I can guide you through the writing, editing, and publishing process so your work reaches its full potential.

Youth Work

Young people have always been close to my heart. I spent 30 years as a youth worker, and in 2014 I was highly commended (top 7) by the National Youth Agency for Youth Worker of the Year. If you support young people in any capacity, I can help you navigate challenges, share strategies, and grow your impact.
