Through FRAGMENTS, Brendan shares poems inspired by his own journey through mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, fear, isolation, and emotional struggle. His honest and accessible style creates space for connection and reflection, helping people feel seen and understood.

Alongside his writing and performances, Brendan runs creative writing workshops, using storytelling as a tool for encouragement, personal growth, and healing. He continues to use poetry and lived experience to inspire hope and foster deeper understanding around mental health.

What Story Is Your Team Telling?

Is your team FRAGMENTED?

FRAGMENTS for employers

A new team experience designed to strengthen communication, creativity, wellbeing, and shared purpose within organisations.

Most organisations invest in communication, wellbeing, and team development. Yet many people still feel unheard, disconnected, or unable to express what really matters.

FRAGMENTS is a unique spoken-word experience that uses storytelling, poetry, music, and film to explore mental health, resilience, change, challenge, and hope. Drawing on personal experience and universal themes, it creates a safe and engaging space for reflection, conversation, and connection.

While powerful as a standalone performance, FRAGMENTS can also act as a catalyst for team discussion, reflection, and creative collaboration.

My background spans youth work, leadership, creative arts, and the charity sector. As a qualified youth worker, former CEO of The Door Youth Project, author, and spoken-word artist, I have spent much of my career helping people discover their voice and tell their stories.

The experience can be tailored to your objectives and may include:

• A thought-provoking performance
• Facilitated team discussion and reflection
• Creative workshops focused on communication and connection
• The creation of a bespoke team or company poem/song

Outcomes may include:

• Stronger team relationships
• Improved communication and listening
• Greater creativity and engagement
• Enhanced well-being awareness
• Increased resilience and psychological safety
• A clearer sense of shared purpose and culture

For organisations seeking something truly distinctive, workshops can culminate in the creation of a bespoke corporate poem, spoken-word piece, or company anthem that captures the values, aspirations, and identity of the team.

As this programme is being launched this autumn, I am offering an introductory rollout rate for organisations that confirm a booking before 1 December 2026. In return, I would welcome feedback, testimonials, and the opportunity to refine the programme with a small number of early partner organisations.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your team's objectives and explore how FRAGMENTS might support a staff conference, team day, leadership event, well-being programme, or organisational development initiative.

Every life has fragments. Every fragment has a story.

FRAGMENTS for schools

A powerful spoken-word experience designed to support student well-being, strengthen communication, and create space for honest reflection, creativity, and connection within schools.

Schools today are carrying increasing responsibility for well-being, emotional literacy, resilience, and student voice. Yet many young people still struggle to articulate what they are feeling, and many staff carry unseen pressures as they support them.

FRAGMENTS is a unique spoken-word experience that combines storytelling, poetry, music, and film to explore themes such as mental health, identity, resilience, change, pressure, hope, and belonging. Drawing on lived experience and universal emotional journeys, it creates a safe, engaging space for reflection, dialogue, and expression.

While powerful as a standalone performance, FRAGMENTS can also be used as a catalyst for meaningful classroom discussion, pastoral reflection, staff development, and creative student engagement.

My background spans youth work, leadership, creative arts, and the charity sector. As a qualified youth worker, former CEO of The Door Youth Project, author, and spoken-word artist, I have spent much of my career helping young people find their voice and express their stories in healthy, creative ways.

The experience can be tailored to your school’s needs and may include:

• A thought-provoking spoken-word performance for students and/or staff
• Facilitated discussion and reflective sessions
• Workshops focused on emotional literacy, expression, and storytelling
• Creative collaboration to produce a class, year group, or whole-school poem or spoken-word piece

Outcomes may include:

• Improved emotional literacy and self-expression among students
• Stronger relationships between staff and pupils
• Enhanced wellbeing awareness and mental health understanding
• Increased confidence, creativity, and student voice
• A more open, connected, and reflective school culture
• Support for pastoral care, PSHE, and enrichment provision

For schools seeking something truly distinctive, workshops can culminate in the creation of a bespoke school poem, spoken-word piece, or collective anthem that captures the voice, values, and lived experience of the school community.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your school’s priorities and explore how FRAGMENTS might support an assembly, enrichment day, wellbeing initiative, staff INSET session, or whole-school development programme.
