STORYTELLING & PUBLIC SPEAKING:
My life has been a fascinating journey and as with any journey, it has given me an abundance of stories. From the wonderful and joyous, to the darkest moments of despair. Reading a book is of course a great way of absorbing stories, but the original stories were spoken out, told around a campfire and passed on from generation to generation. I am an associate speaker with Christian Vision for Men, but I talk to numerous groups, including:
Mothers Union, Rotary, charitable organisations, churches, youth groups, mens groups, Christian conferences, etc.
I am flexible and available at times to suit you and a presentation can be tailored to your needs and could include: Testimony, short stories, book readings, poetry, spoken word, etc.
I left school with few qualifications and very poor English language and comprehension abilities. When Jesus came into my life, all that changed, as He gave me the gift of writing. Despite this gift, a friend once told me that I could never write a book and I believed him. His doubt became a curse and it held me back, but God pushed through.
Now, with eight books to my name (really though they are all written by God and I am His conduit to produce them), I can call myself an author. Though it has just been in books that God has given me creativity. He has shown me how to create art and now He is telling me to 'go and speak, tell your stories'.
